    how much time does it take for the IP to failover?

    Depending on the timeout and number of retries you set.
    Keepalived will perform failover action as soon as it determine that your master interface is down.

    Hi, Thanks for this tutorial! shouldn’t the priority be different on one of the configuration files? e.g priority 101 on the MASTER and priority 100 on the SLAVE?

    Good catch! slave should be different priority with master.
